Indicator weights: how the factors vote

A weight is how loudly a factor votes. The sum of votes is compared with the threshold.

How the score adds up

Every triggered factor adds its weight with a sign: up is plus, down is minus. The sum is the signal's score. If its magnitude does not reach the threshold, no signal is issued.

By default most factors weigh 1. The exceptions are set in the core itself: divergence 2, FVG and order block 1.5, sweep 1.5. These are not arbitrary numbers but the outcome of the production bot's work.

When it is worth changing weights

When you know for certain that a particular factor works better than the rest on your instrument. That knowledge comes from runs over several periods, not from a feeling after one lucky trade.

Why it is dangerous

Tuning weights is the fastest way to overfit. There are more than thirty settings here, and trying them you will almost certainly find a set that works beautifully on the chosen stretch and nowhere else.

Rule: change a weight, then check over several periods — not the one you tuned on.

Dynamic weights

A separate setting lets the service adjust the weights itself from the results of already closed signals. It does not apply in a historical run — that would be looking into the future. In live mode it does work.
